Peter Brown Recommends Boomerang by Michael Lewis

The legendary Peter Brown, chairman and founder of Canaccord, sent the following book recommendation yesterday:

I would like to recommend Michael Lewis's new book "Boomerang - Travels in the New Third World" also author of ("Big Short","Liars Poker" and "Blind Side").  This is a 150 page quick read with a chapter on the financial disasters in Iceland, Greece, Ireland and Germany.  This is an expansion of articles he wrote for Vanity Fair into the financial habits of the European countries that are in so much trouble.  It is a very anecdotal, easy and entertaining read.  You will be amazed that the powers that be could not recognize the problems before they reached a crisis.  It will add to your understanding.
