The Zimtu Road Trip 2011 kicks off in Hamburg, Germany this morning. The Road trip is the brain child of David Hodge, president of Vancouver based Zimtu Capital Corp. Hodge, a veteran of many fund raising trips to Germany figures that the group approach will attract more interest. The group has seven TSX.V listed companies and three going through the process to get listed. I am along for the experience of watching Canadian juniors meet the investment community in the one European country that is desperately fighting to hold the European community together. Later this afternoon we fly to Zurich, the heart of the Swiss financial centre. From there we take the Zimtu bus to Geneva and on to the Munich International Precious Metals and Commodities Show before making one last stop in Vienna to see if this group can waltz with the Austrian bankers.
